Blue Irises is a charming late-period watercolour by Jonah, which he presented the year before he died to one of his stepdaughters. It was exhibited in his final show at the University of Swansea’s Taliesin Arts Centre in 2004, which he titled ‘Scene and Word’, a typical Jonah pun that was fittingly adopted by our company when we set it up in 2006.
