Oriel Plas Glyn-y-Weddw appeal

3 August 2020

Scene & Word has supported an online appeal for donations to Oriel Plas Glyn-y-Weddw, where the Jonah Jones Centennial Exhibition was held in 2019.

As Plas Glyn-y-Weddw welcomes back customers after being closed for an extensive period during the Covid-19 crisis, they depend heavily on public support to keep the gallery and café open for everyone’s enjoyment. All necessary steps are being taken to ensure visitors’ safety.

Plas Glyn-y-Weddw is a registered charity. A huge percentage of its income each year comes through private donations and commercial activity via the café, exhibition sales, the shop and room hire. Now as never before they need to safeguard the future of the charity. When this international crisis is over Plas Glyn-y-Weddw needs to be there to continue the invaluable work they do in their community.

Any donations, no matter how big or small, will be gratefully received via their Go Fund Me page: https://oriel.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=963c824caab3b704dedc3e866&id=70a04a4cb3&e=3e79814a8b
